One soldier stopped and stepped aside; another soldier continued, inserted a magazine, raised his weapon, and fired a round toward the first soldier, striking him in the neck and critically wounding him. The Military Police Criminal Investigation Division has opened an investigation, and training at the base has been halted. The identities of the soldiers involved have not been released.
