A serious indictment was filed Wednesday against Ayman Hamad, 49, of East Jerusalem, for criminal negligence in the construction of a concrete wall that collapsed and killed Itzik Steinberger, 25, a yeshiva student. The case was filed after the property owner was cleared of wrongdoing, two and a half years after the accident, according to Israeli media.
