An indictment was filed Wednesday against Daniel Nasimov, 22, of Acre, for a series of violent offenses against his parents, according to journalist Or Ravid (N12). The indictment alleges that in mid-June he locked his mother in her car and threatened her life; in a separate incident he assaulted his father, and while under police supervision at the station told a guard: "Get me a knife, I want to slaughter my father and finish him off."
The indictment against Nasimov, filed at the Acre Magistrate's Court, describes a pattern of escalating violence toward his parents over the past month. According to the charge sheet, the first incident occurred in mid-June when he locked his mother in her car and threatened to kill her. In a separate attack, he physically assaulted his father. The most alarming episode took place while he was in police custody: under a guard's supervision, he demanded a knife, stating he wanted to "slaughter" his father. The case adds to a series of domestic violence indictments in northern Israel this year, though charges at this severity — involving threats while detained — remain relatively rare.
