A 29-year-old Kiryat Motzkin resident was indicted Sunday on charges of assault, threats, property damage, and resisting arrest, after he attacked his mother at their home when she refused to give him money for drugs, according to journalist Or Ravid (N12). The indictment alleges that he threw and smashed her phone, pushed her forcefully to the floor causing a head injury, and while she was on the ground threatened: 'Next time I will step on my foot on your face.'
The indictment was filed Sunday at the Kiryat Motzkin Magistrate's Court. The suspect is also charged with resisting arrest. As The Zioneer reported earlier today, the indictment also includes allegations that he disassembled scissors and threatened to kill his mother. The case adds to a series of violent domestic incidents reported in the northern city.
