The US military said it struck dozens of targets on Iran's coastline overnight. In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported it attacked American bases in Jordan and Kuwait. Minutes ago, sirens were heard in Bahrain, according to reports. The claims are unverified by independent sources.
At 05:51 Jerusalem, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it attacked American bases in Kuwait, and sirens were reported in Bahrain, according to unverified reports. This marks the latest in a series of claims by the IRGC tonight, following a report at 04:38 Jerusalem of sirens in Jordan after Iran fired missiles at the Muwaffaq Salti base. At the same time, the IRGC released a statement saying it struck fuel and ammunition depots at Prince Hassan airbase in Jordan, calling it the first phase of retaliation for US strikes on Iran's coastline. The Zioneer published a follow-up bulletin at 05:26 Jerusalem reiterating the IRGC's claim.
The IRGC's claims have expanded from a single target in Jordan to include bases in Kuwait and now Bahrain, within the span of about an hour. Throughout this period, all claims have remained unverified by independent sources. As The Zioneer reported on June 11 and July 9, the IRGC has a pattern of making similar unverified claims of strikes on US bases across the region, including in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, during previous escalations.
All of the IRGC's claims tonight remain unverified. There is no independent confirmation of any strikes, damage, or casualties. US, Jordanian, Kuwaiti, and Bahraini officials have not yet commented on the allegations.
