A new Kan 11 survey shows Likud and Yesh Atid tied for the first time. Gadi Eisenkot overtakes Benjamin Netanyahu for the first time on the question of suitability for prime minister. The poll also tests a new party led by Erdan-Shaked-Edelstein at six seats, but it does not create a blocking majority for either bloc, according to the sample.
The Kan 11 survey, published Sunday evening, shows Likud and Yesh Atid tied for the first time in the seat count. Additionally, opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot overtakes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the first time on the question of suitability for prime minister. The poll also tested a new party led by former ministers Gilad Erdan, Ayelet Shaked, and Yuli Edelstein, which received six seats but does not create a blocking majority for either the pro-Netanyahu or anti-Netanyahu blocs, which remain unchanged. The survey marks a continuation of Eisenkot's surge in recent weeks, as the former IDF chief of staff has risen past Naftali Bennett's party and now challenges Netanyahu's position directly.
