The State Prosecutor's Office on Monday filed an indictment against Liel Ifragan, 26, charging him with the aggravated murder of 7-year-old Hillel Mordechai Dadon and the attempted murder of his young cousin, N12 reports. According to the indictment, Ifragan stabbed the two children while they played in a pool in the yard of a home in Beit Shemesh, then fled to his unit and cleaned the knife. The prosecution requested his detention until the end of proceedings.
The indictment represents a significant step in the legal case surrounding the August 17 stabbing attack in Beit Shemesh that killed 7-year-old Hillel Mordechai Dadon and seriously wounded his 4-year-old cousin.
