Earlier on Sunday, The Zioneer reported that sources from Likud headquarters alleged irregularities during the final vote count of the party's primary, with hundreds of ballots reportedly 'found' in a Kisra-Samie ballot box favoring candidate Eti Atiya. The alleged discovery would vault Atiya to the 25th slot, the last woman's reserved seat, pushing incumbent Minister Gila Gamliel out of the Knesset. Atiya's statement Sunday evening, however, indicates that she has not yet secured enough votes to close the gap — despite her search for additional valid ballots and those she says were disqualified without cause. She said she will continue reviewing protocols and additional files on Monday. The claims of irregularities remain unverified and are reportedly under internal review.
