Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that a 54-year-old man was seriously injured Wednesday evening when his vehicle struck a guardrail on Highway 4 southbound near the Rishon LeZion South Interchange. Medics treated him at the scene and evacuated him to Kaplan Hospital with neck and abdomen trauma.

The incident occurred at 18:06, when MDA's Ayalon dispatch center received a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a guardrail on Highway 4 south at the Rishon LeZion South Interchange. MDA medics and paramedics provided on-site treatment and evacuated the injured man, 54, in serious condition to Kaplan Hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation. No other injuries were reported.
