The incident occurred at 20:58 on Monday evening on Route 60 near the Tel Sheva junction in the Negev. Magen David Adom medics treated the child at the scene and evacuated him to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The circumstances of the violence are not yet clear. The Zioneer has reported a series of violence incidents in the Negev in recent weeks, including a 25-year-old man wounded in Hura on Sunday and a 27-year-old man wounded on Route 60 near Omer Junction on July 17.
