Magen David Adom senior medic Avital Apfel said on Monday evening that paramedics found the 4-year-old boy lying on the road unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing with severe body injuries after being struck by a bus near Carmei Tzur in Judea. Advanced medical care and prolonged resuscitation efforts were administered, but his injuries were fatal and death was declared at the scene.
Emergency services responded to the fatal collision at the entrance to Carmei Tzur in Judea shortly before sundown on Monday. Senior MDA medic Avital Apfel, who was first on scene, described arriving to find the child unconscious, without pulse or breathing, with massive multisystem trauma following a bus strike. The team administered advanced airway management, chest compressions, and pharmacological resuscitation, but after prolonged efforts the boy's injuries were deemed incompatible with life and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
