A 4-year-old boy has died after being struck by a bus near the entrance to Carmei Tzur, a community in the Judean hills south of Jerusalem. Magen David Adom medics who arrived at the scene performed resuscitation but pronounced the child dead due to multisystem trauma. The incident occurred on Route 3515.
As The Zioneer reported at 18:50, the boy was initially listed in critical condition. According to MDA, circumstances of the accident are under police investigation.
The fatality follows a separate fatal car-bus collision near Shavei Shomron in Samaria on Sunday, in which a 10-year-old boy was killed. Both incidents highlight road safety risks in the region.
