MDA medics recount rescue of 6-year-old Adar Gitzis after pool drowning

MDA paramedics Amit Yehudai and Eran Carmel said they found the boy unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing beside the pool. They performed lifesaving treatment and evacuated him to hospital in critical condition.

The Zioneer reported at 16:30 that Adar Gitzis, 6, was in critical condition after a drowning incident at a pool in Holon. MDA medics have now provided a detailed account of the rescue. Amit Yehudai, a medic from MDA's motorcycle unit, and Eran Carmel, an emergency medic, said they found the boy lying beside the pool without a pulse or breathing, with lifeguards already performing CPR. They continued advanced life support during evacuation to the hospital. The boy's condition remains critical.
