MK Moshe Solomon (Religious Zionism) announced his resignation from the party Thursday evening, stating that he can no longer represent a party that 'chose to give up' on the principles of military service. 'I believe in IDF service – these are the values we grew up on and that our public sent us to represent,' Solomon wrote in a statement released via N12. He is the second Religious Zionism MK to depart this week, following Minister Ofer Sofer. Solomon had previously been at the center of coalition tensions over the military service issue, as The Zioneer has reported.
