MK Yoav Segalovich (formerly of Yesh Atid, now leading the Ra'am list) officially submitted the party's slate for the 26th Knesset on Monday evening, alongside a declaration that 'the future picture I see is partnership with diversity.' In a live broadcast from the Knesset channel, Segalovich added: 'It is mandatory to build a bridge where bridges were burned, to create a dialogue where people do not want to talk. One cannot exclude 21% of the population—that was not the founding intent of the State of Israel.'
Segalovich's move has drawn sharp criticism from right-wing MKs. As The Zioneer reported on August 9, MK Moshe Saada (Likud) slammed the plan to join Ra'am as 'shame and disgrace.'
