Muhammad Majadala: Ra'am list elections separate from Islamic Movement conference, Shura Council

Muhammad Majadala stated that Ra'am's Knesset list elections will be held separately from the Islamic Movement's conference and without subordination to the Shura Council, according to a report on N12.

The Zioneer has previously reported on Ra'am's separation from the Islamic Movement's institutional structures. Party chairman Mansour Abbas announced on July 11 that Ra'am is disconnecting from the Shura Council and pursuing an independent path. Earlier this evening, Ra'am announced it will hold its first ever primaries on August 22, separate from the Islamic Movement's conference. Muhammad Majadala's statement reiterates the party's position on the independence of its candidate selection process.
