A security officer from Havat Gilad who responded was shot after his weapon was snatched, according to reports. MDA initially reported four wounded, including one unconscious. At 09:12, MDA spokesman Zaki Heller confirmed on Army Radio that one of the wounded had died. By 09:58, the casualty count was updated to one killed and two wounded, both evacuated by helicopter. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported three Palestinians wounded by gunfire. The IDF imposed a closure on Nablus and the village of Tel and is conducting a manhunt for the attackers.
