Paramedics treated the man, approximately 70 years old, who was fully conscious but suffering a head injury in moderate condition, and evacuated him to Beilinson Hospital. The incident is being investigated by police traffic examiners. This is the second pedestrian struck by a vehicle in a central city reported by The Zioneer in the past week, following a similar incident in Ramla on June 4 in which a 70-year-old woman was moderately injured.
