Haifa police say they have solved the robbery of an elderly woman who was followed, had her bag stolen, fell, and was injured. A 16-year-old minor from northern Israel was arrested, and an indictment is expected.
Haifa police announced the arrest of a 16-year-old minor in connection with the assault and robbery of an elderly woman, according to journalist Sharon Knoblich (N12). The suspect allegedly followed the woman, snatched her bag, causing her to fall, and fled. He was arrested and an indictment is expected. This is a third suspect arrested in the case. Earlier, two other minors were arrested in connection with the same incident, as The Zioneer previously reported. The February 22 bulletin detailed the arrest of the first suspect following exposure of security footage by journalist Daniel Amram. A second suspect was arrested on June 22.
