The incident occurred at the entrance to Gan Ner, where Mokin, driving without a license and under the influence of alcohol and drugs, confronted Omari over his driving style. During the confrontation, Mokin pulled out a gun and shot Omari at close range. According to the prosecution, Mokin continued firing even as Omari tried to flee, until he collapsed and died from his wounds. The sentencing hearing is pending.
