Tal Sahar, a 35-year-old Ramat Gan city employee, was arrested and later released to house arrest after the conclusion of an investigation into allegations he sexually harassed a 14-year-old girl on Omegle. Police say the investigation is ongoing into possible additional victims.
Tal Sahar, a Ramat Gan municipal employee previously suspended over sexual harassment allegations, was arrested and subsequently released to house arrest at the conclusion of an investigation, according to a report by journalist Daniel Amram. The investigation was launched after Amram's report documented Sahar allegedly sexually harassing a young woman who stated she was 14 years old on the Omegle platform. In the recording, the woman says, 'I am 14, why are you still talking to me?' to which Sahar reportedly replies, 'You are pretty, I'm horn** for you.' Sahar's defense in the investigation was that he 'did not know she was 14.' Police noted that the investigation is ongoing regarding suspicion of harassment of additional girls and urged anyone harassed by him to file a complaint. This follows Sahar's suspension by the Ramat Gan mayor earlier this week, as The Zioneer previously reported.
