A suspected abuse incident has emerged at a special-education kindergarten in Ramla. According to a report by i24NEWS, a passerby heard a five-year-old child crying outside the kindergarten on Kiryat Ha'Omanim street earlier today and recorded footage showing him standing alone in the intense heat, begging to be let back inside. The video was circulated and reached the child's mother, who was summoned to the scene.
Police have opened an investigation. Two female staff members were questioned and subsequently placed under house arrest.
As The Zioneer reported on Sunday, a similar incident at a different special-education kindergarten in the city (Gan Deh Reh Mi) involved a child being left outside for about 40 minutes as punishment. The new case appears to involve another facility, and the investigation is ongoing. Details on the length of time the child was outside have not yet been confirmed.
