The IDF intercepted two drones on Monday at 11:02 near the Dead Sea, and the Jordanian military later announced it downed two drones that crossed into its territory. On Tuesday at 05:59, the IDF intercepted another drone in the same area. No sirens were activated in any of the incidents, as the drones did not cross into Israeli airspace.
The confirmation from the security official provides the first official attribution of the launches to Iraq, though the IDF has not publicly confirmed the origin. The origin of the Monday launches remains under investigation by the IDF.
