Sirens were activated in the northern Israeli community of Shlomi due to a suspected hostile drone intrusion, according to Israeli media. The IDF says it intercepted a suspicious aerial target in the area of southern Lebanon where Israeli forces are operating, which triggered the alerts.
Sirens sounded in Shlomi, a northern Israeli community near the Lebanese border, at approximately 14:20 on June 10, amid concerns of a hostile drone infiltration, as Israeli media reported. The IDF confirmed shortly after that a suspicious aerial target had been intercepted in southern Lebanon, in an area where Israeli forces are operating, and linked the interception to the alerts. This development follows a series of similar interceptions in the same region today. As The Zioneer reported earlier on June 10, the IDF intercepted a suspicious aerial target over southern Lebanon and a second suspicious aerial vehicle was identified advancing from the western Galilee. Another interception of a Hezbollah drone near troops in southern Lebanon was also reported. The current event appears to be a continuation of this ongoing pattern of aerial threats from Lebanon.
