A Palestinian resident of Hebron was arrested after allegedly breaking into a vehicle in the central city of Holon and fleeing the scene, Israeli police said. Officers recovered a bag containing a car-start computer, a tool suspected of being used to smash the vehicle's window, and two license plates.

The arrest follows a prior report by The Zioneer at 09:12 today of the same incident, when police initially released details. The suspect, a Palestinian illegally present in Israel from Hebron, is alleged to have broken into a vehicle, then fled. Police say the equipment found on him suggests he used tools to break the window and possibly to start vehicles. His detention was extended earlier today. The investigation is ongoing.
