A man was shot dead at approximately 07:08 Tuesday morning near the Kabol junction, east of Acre, in what appears to be a criminal murder. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics pronounced his death at the scene. Police have opened an investigation; the suspected motive is criminal. Kabol and the surrounding Arab communities in the Galilee have seen a series of violent incidents in recent weeks, including a shooting that left a 25-year-old man seriously wounded on June 8. The identity of the victim and any suspects have not yet been released.
