01 · THE DISPATCH

A worker was seriously injured in an industrial accident in the Galilee town of Hatzor HaGlilit on Saturday evening, Magen David Adom reported.

MDA said its emergency hotline received the report at 22:06 on Saturday night regarding a worker hit by a heavy object at a factory in the town. Fire and rescue crews worked to extricate the man, 28, who was fully conscious throughout the rescue. MDA paramedics provided life-saving care and evacuated him to Ziv Medical Center in Safed in serious condition with multi-system injuries.

The latest incident comes amid a series of work-related injuries reported over recent weeks in other towns. The Zioneer has previously covered serious accidents at construction and industrial sites in Ramla, Lod, Ashdod, Kiryat Gat, Ashkelon, and Kiryat Motzkin. While each incident is under separate investigation by the relevant authorities, the pattern underscores ongoing concerns about workplace safety standards in Israel. The factory's name and the exact circumstances surrounding the accident were not immediately disclosed.
