A worker, about 40, was seriously injured Sunday evening after falling from a height of approximately eight meters at the Hevel Modiin Industrial Park, Magen David Adom reported. MDA medics treated him at the scene and evacuated him to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer in serious but conscious condition with limb injuries.
On Sunday evening at 21:15, Magen David Adom's emergency hotline received a report of a worker who fell approximately eight meters at the Hevel Modiin Industrial Park. MDA paramedics treated the man, about 40 years old, at the scene and evacuated him to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer in serious condition; he was conscious with limb injuries.
Workplace falls from height remain a recurring safety issue in Israel. Earlier this evening, The Zioneer reported a separate incident in Shoham, where a worker was seriously injured after falling from a similar height at a construction site. Other recent incidents include falls in Kiryat Gat, Baqa al-Gharbiyya, and near Dvira.
The circumstances of the fall are under investigation. No further details on the worker's identity were released.
