Originally from the village of Ghaziya in the Sidon district of southern Lebanon, Ghaddar represented the veteran command tier of the organization. His elimination on Sunday, September 6, 2026, occurred during a precision strike by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) on a structure identified as the Ghandour Hospital in Nabatieh al-Fawqa.
The circumstances of his death highlight a recurring pattern in Hezbollah's operational doctrine: the exploitation of civilian and medical infrastructure for military purposes. While the facility was designated as a hospital, Lebanese sources confirmed that at the time of the strike, the building contained no medical personnel, doctors, or patients.
