The IDF says soldiers of the 91st Division eliminated more than 35 Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon over the past week, struck an anti-tank missile launcher concealed in bushes, and raided a weapons storage facility containing Kalashnikov rifles, RPGs, and rockets.
The IDF on Thursday morning released details of an extended operational sweep by the 91st Division in southern Lebanon over the past week.
The military reports that troops eliminated over 35 Hezbollah operatives operating adjacent to IDF forces. During an operation yesterday (Wednesday), soldiers located and struck an anti-tank missile launcher hidden in bushes, killing a terrorist at the site. Footage of the dismantling was released.
In a separate raid, troops uncovered a weapons storage facility holding Kalashnikov rifles, RPGs, and rockets. The sweep continues a pattern of systematic dismantling of Hezbollah infrastructure along the border, as The Zioneer has previously reported on other operations by the same division and its subordinate units in recent days.
No Israeli casualties were reported in the operations.
