The Zioneer Intelligence Desk has published additional images of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's arrival at United Nations headquarters in New York this evening. The images were released following the Prime Minister's Office's earlier distribution of footage and photographs of the delegation's arrival, which The Zioneer reported on at 11:53 Jerusalem time.
Netanyahu arrived at the UN building at 18:51 Jerusalem, after a journey that included landing at a remote military airfield in New Jersey due to security requirements. The sequence of developments was first reported by N12's Yaron Abraham and later corroborated by ynet and i24NEWS. The prime minister told reporters that the UN is a 'house of lies' and a 'good opportunity to reveal the truth,' as The Zioneer documented earlier this evening.
The prime minister is in New York to address the 81st UN General Assembly, with his speech scheduled for Thursday evening. The trip was announced by his office on September 14, and is expected to include meetings with several world leaders. As The Zioneer reported, Netanyahu's visit also comes amid a threat by a New York mayoral candidate to enforce an ICC warrant against him, though no action has been taken.
It remains to be seen what specific topics Netanyahu will raise in his address, and whether any diplomatic breakthroughs or confrontations emerge from the visit.
