Today at 08:58 Jerusalem, The Zioneer first reported that Bedouin local officials claimed Yashar chair Gadi Eisenkot promised to include Ra'am — a claim Yashar immediately denied as “an absolute lie.” Minutes later, al-Hib clarified that Bedouin leaders had not endorsed Eisenkot but had demanded Ra'am's inclusion, and that Eisenkot promised to do so. In a subsequent report, al-Hib said Eisenkot informed him Ra'am would be an integral part of any coalition he leads. The new recording adds the assertion that concrete contacts are already in motion.
Eisenkot has long positioned himself as a coalition builder willing to include non-Zionist parties.
