An update released shortly after 10:00 AM adds that a civilian bystander sustained light injuries from shrapnel during the police fire, and a policewoman was also lightly injured when the suspect rammed her car. The suspect was lightly wounded. Police said the suspect had been spotted in a stolen vehicle and fled when officers approached, ramming police cars before fleeing on foot. He was shot during the chase and arrested. The three injured individuals were treated at the scene.
