At 08:57 Jerusalem, initial reports of the ramming and arrest emerged. Police confirmed the suspect was shot and arrested, and that a policewoman was injured. Shortly thereafter, police added that a civilian bystander had also been injured. An earlier version of the report identified the suspect as Inbar Touizer, but later updates clarified that Touizer is a journalist who documented the scene, not the suspect.
