The court ruled that Haim Rotter, former chairman of the Hashomerim organization in Bnei Brak, will not be released to house arrest. Rotter is accused of serious sex offenses. As The Zioneer reported, the state prosecutor had appealed an earlier court decision to release him to house arrest with electronic monitoring. The new ruling means Rotter will remain in custody.
