01 · THE DISPATCH

At 15:06, drone infiltration alerts were activated in the western Galilee communities of Idmit and Hanita, close to the Lebanese border. The alerts, which specified 'hostile aircraft intrusion,' were issued via the Home Front Command's early-warning system. Residents in both localities were instructed to enter protected spaces immediately.

This incident comes amid a sustained period of drone incursions from Lebanon, many attributed to Hezbollah. As The Zioneer reported earlier today (13:56), drone interceptions were confirmed over Metula. In recent weeks, such alerts have become a near-daily occurrence in northern border communities, with the IDF intercepting a drone and two rockets as recently as June 3. The current alert shares the same regional pattern, targeting frontline communities along the 'confrontation line' (Kav HaOmetz).

The IDF has not yet confirmed whether the drone was intercepted, where it was heading, or whether it crossed Israeli airspace. No reports of injuries or property damage have been received. The incident remains under investigation.
