The MDA reported that at 14:45 Jerusalem time, a call was received regarding a 12-year-old boy who went missing after his boat capsized on the Jordan River near Agmon HaHula. Rescue teams, including police, fire services, the Golan Rescue Unit, and a United Hatzalah drone, launched an extensive search. The boy's body was recovered at approximately 16:00 and he was pronounced dead at the scene. At 17:13, he was identified as Elchanan Karni, an 8th-grade student from Modi'in Illit, according to the police and local media. The boy's family has been notified. The incident is under investigation by local authorities.
