Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported Friday morning that Israeli winger Anan Khalaili has agreed personal terms with Inter Milan on a five-year contract, with the transfer fee to Union Saint-Gilloise set at approximately €25 million. The deal is awaiting final agreement between the clubs.
This is the third report in The Zioneer's thread on the transfer. At 12:04 Thursday, a lone Hebrew media report indicated Khalaili was close to signing for Inter. At 03:49 Jerusalem time Friday, Italian journalist Nicolò Schira reported a contract through 2031 worth €1.8 million per season. Romano's report, which carries more authority in the transfer market, adds the five-year term and the fee, consistent with the €25 million figure reported earlier.
The record transfer fee for an Israeli player would be broken if the deal goes through, as The Zioneer noted Thursday.
No confirmation has yet come from Inter Milan, Union Saint-Gilloise, or Israeli sources. The final transfer fee structure between the clubs remains to be settled.
