Within minutes, witnesses reported that a usher allegedly struck a fan with an iron bar, and another individual threw a chair. N12 reported that the fan was hospitalized in moderate-to-mild condition, and witnesses said fans had hurled racist remarks at ushers, sparking the confrontation. At the same time, i24NEWS reported that three ushers were arrested following the clashes.
Now, new details confirm that the injured fan was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital with a head injury. The three ushers were taken for questioning. The severity of the fan's injury has not been further specified beyond the initial moderate-to-mild condition, and charges against the detained ushers have not yet been filed.
