Fire and Rescue Services crews rescued a woman in moderate condition who was trapped under her overturned vehicle following a single-car accident in Jerusalem's Gilo neighborhood on Thursday evening. The trapped woman was conscious throughout the complex extraction, which involved specialized rescue equipment, according to the Fire and Rescue Services.
A woman was rescued in moderate condition Thursday evening after being trapped under her vehicle in a rollover accident on Harakevet Street in Jerusalem's Gilo neighborhood.
Fire crews from the Capital Station responded to the scene following a 102 emergency call. The vehicle had overturned, pinning the woman beneath it. Firefighters used specialized extraction equipment to free her while she remained conscious, incident commander Itamar Huter said. After the extraction, MDA medics evacuated her for further treatment.
The cause of the single-vehicle accident is under investigation. No other casualties were reported.
