Firefighting efforts continue across multiple fronts in Samaria and the southern Hebron Hills, with the blaze near the community of Beit Dror remaining out of control. N12 reports that approximately 14 firefighting crews are operating at the scene. A vehicle fire on the side of Route 5 in Samaria has spread to an open area, blocking the westbound lane.
Earlier today, The Zioneer reported on fires on Hill 26 near Kiryat Arba and on Route 60 near Hebron, where firefighters gained control of some blazes. The Hill 26 fire is still being fought. In a new development, a mobile home used for housing in the community of Ma'ale Amos was completely destroyed by fire.
The cause of the fires has not been reported. The fire near Beit Dror has been burning since earlier today, with no containment yet achieved.
