Palestinian footage reportedly shows Israeli military bulldozers leveling ground east of Khan Younis in the central Gaza Strip. The purpose and extent of the operation are not yet clear.
Footage circulated by Palestinian accounts on Tuesday afternoon appears to show IDF Caterpillar D9 bulldozers conducting earthmoving operations east of Khan Younis. The video, whose authenticity has not been independently verified, shows several armored bulldozers pushing sand and debris in a manner consistent with preparing terrain for military purposes. The IDF has not commented on the activity. Similar bulldozer operations have been observed in recent weeks along the Philadelphi Corridor and near the Netzarim junction, but the reported location east of Khan Younis suggests possible expansion of ground-holding lines or creation of a buffer zone. No accompanying airstrikes or ground troop movements were visible in the footage.
