Ben Simhon was killed overnight Thursday in southern Lebanon when a suspicious munition — possibly an explosive drone — struck his command tank near the village of Tebnit, north of the Beaufort fortress, according to an IDF preliminary investigation published Friday morning. Three other soldiers died in the same incident; their names have not yet been cleared for publication.
