Hillel and Noa Politi, residents of the Samaria community of Havat Gilad, have launched a fundraising campaign to rebuild their home, which was completely destroyed in the arson-caused wildfire that swept through the community last month.
According to the family's appeal, Hillel, a reserve soldier, rushed to help extinguish the fire near neighbors' homes on Saturday. He was unaware that the wind had shifted and the fire was approaching his own home. Noa, who was at home with their three children, fled with the children when smoke filled the house. They escaped with nothing.
