Rabies cases have been reported across the country in recent weeks. As The Zioneer has noted, a rabid wolf was found in Kiryat Shmona in June, a rabid jackal was caught at the Kinneret's Doga Beach, and a rabid dog was reported in the Samaria town of Bartaa. The Health Ministry has also confirmed a rabid badger near Ayelet HaShahar in July.
The current case in Neve Tzuf adds to the ongoing public health monitoring. No exposures have been reported in this incident.
