01 · THE DISPATCH

Hezbollah published footage on Friday evening claiming to show a strike on an IDF command and control vehicle at the Yahmar al-Shaqif area in southern Lebanon. The video is being circulated via the group's media channels and has not been independently verified. The IDF has not yet commented on the claim.

Yahmar al-Shaqif, located in the Nabatieh district, has been the scene of repeated exchanges between Hezbollah and Israeli forces in recent months. As The Zioneer has reported, the area saw a similar Hezbollah strike on an Israeli vehicle during a live broadcast on June 6. The IDF has also conducted multiple strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in the southern Lebanon region, including overnight operations against observation posts and rocket launch sites.

The footage's release comes amid sustained, mostly low-level hostilities along the Israel-Lebanon border. The extent of any damage or casualties from the claimed strike remains unconfirmed.
