The order responds to an urgent petition filed by the Oz LeYisrael (Courage for Israel) association representing reserve servicemen, submitted through the law firm of attorney Miron Ben Zion Freivas.
The petition argues that current sanctions do not promote enlistment and in fact reduce it, and demands that the Attorney General promote benefits including tax breaks, preferential treatment in government tenders, public competitions, and academia for reserve servicemen and combat soldiers.
