New details about the electrocution of a young woman in Binyamina on Sunday evening have emerged, revealing that her husband used his personal defibrillator to revive her. According to reports, the woman, identified as Sharon Kanovlich, was electrocuted while on vacation. Her husband, a volunteer medic with Magen David Adom (MDA), was present and immediately used his personal defibrillator. A single shock restored her heartbeat and she began regaining consciousness.
The incident was first reported by N12 on Sunday evening at 22:49 Jerusalem, identifying the victim and noting that her husband provided initial care. MDA later confirmed that a defibrillator was used on site. By 23:08 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that the husband, an MDA volunteer, had restored her pulse. The latest reports now specify that the defibrillator was his personal device, which he had with him, allowing for immediate life-saving treatment.
