By 16:00, a senior IDF official told YinonNews that over 80% of the soldiers had returned, and the IDF confirmed that the rebellion leaders would face disciplinary proceedings. The battalion commander later extended the deadline for return to 19:30-20:00, and most soldiers eventually returned. Channel 14 reported at 20:28 that the soldiers had laid down their weapons.
