The incident follows a series of drone interceptions in the same area yesterday (Monday, Jul 27). Beginning at 11:02 Jerusalem, the IDF reported initial intercepts of two drones, later confirmed by the Jordanian military, which also reported intercepting two drones on its side. The IDF stated that the drones were intercepted using a fighter jet and electronic warfare, and that no alerts were activated. Over the course of the hour, the IDF issued multiple updates, including a second interception of a drone, and confirmed that the origin of the launches remained under investigation.
